Ying Peng, M.D. & Ph.D. From 1997 to 2001, he got his post-doctor training in National Institutes of Health, USA. Now He is working in Sun Yaat-Sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University as a full-professor. His current research fields include: 1. Addiction & Toxic Encephalopathy; 2. Gene therapy of Neurological Disease; 3. Cerebral ischemic stroke; 4.Brain injure and neural regeneration. He got 7 funds during the period of working in the University of Hong Kong and 16 grants after working in the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital. He published 105 papers in SCI journals. Additionally, he got the “Fellows Award for Research Excellence 2001”, sponsored by National Institutes of Health of USA., and the “Second Prize for Scientific Technique Progress Award of Guangdong Province in China (In 1998 and 2014 respectively).

Dr.Jera KRUJA is a Member of Scientific Committee at European Academy of Neurology and Professor of Neurology at Mother Theresa University Hospital Center. Since 2014 she is (European representative) at Teaching Course Committee, World Federation of Neurology. During 2013-2014 she is a Rector of University of Medicine, Tirana and Member of editing board of OA Publishing London, WebMed Central Brain Editor, Albanian Medical Journal, Bulletin of Medical Sciences, University of Medicine, Tirana. She worked at Health National Contact Point, European Commission, CORDIS Fp7 programme(2010-2013). From 2003, she is a reviewer of European Journal of Neurology, Clinical Epidemiology, Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment, Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, Journal of Pediatric Epilepsy. She is a Trainer of European Academy of Epilepsy since February 2003. She is the President of Albanian Society of Neurology (ASN) during 1998-2007.

Dr.Sandeep Kumar Singh is a Neurobiologist with a strong background in Biochemistry and Biomedicine. He has dedicated more than 6 years to Neuroscience Research and used animal models system to investigate the therapeutic potential for Alzheimer’s disease using synthetic as well as natural compounds in Drosophila model system. After obtaining his M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology, he completed his Ph.D. from Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University then moved to the Department of Neurobiology, The University of Chicago, IL, USA and worked on the role of microbial immune responses in AD pathogenesis. Currently, he is the Founder President of a non-profit organization in India named Indian Science Education and Technology Foundation (ISET Foundation) and working in the field of Neurobiology and Biotechnology Research Promotion.Member of the editorial board of several International neuroscience related journals. Also a member of several scientific societies like INDIAN ACADEMY OF NEUROSCIENCES, Alzheimers AND Related Disorders Society Of India, American Academy of Neurology, International Society of Neurochemistry, Member of American Society of Neurochemistry.

Dr KrupaTorne is among the few super specialists who have been internationally trained in the field of Paediatric Neurology. At present she is heading the department of Neurosciences at Surya Childrens multispecialty Hospital one of the premier Institution for children in Mumbai in India. She has completed her Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy from Maharashtra University Health Sciences at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Hospital and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College Mumbai. She has had a brief stint at the University College London Hospital a premier academic institution cum hospital in the UK. She has been trained in Paediatric Neurology at Birmingham Childrens Hospital in UK where she successfully completed her International Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology Epilepsy and Neurorehabilitation. She was honoured by International Bursary from European Paediatric Neurology Society with an opportunity to attend one of the prestigious courses in Paediatric Neuromuscular disorder and Neonatal Neurology at Budapest in Hungary. She was invited to attend the valuable Movement Disorder International Winter School Course by Movement Disorder International society at Catania in Italy. As a feather in her cap she was invited as a Chief Guest in World Congress of Anatomist held in Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences in Karnataka and International Paediatric Conference held at Port Said in Egypt. She has to her credit many valuable publications in reputed peer reviewed index national and International Journals. She is an active Organizing Committee Member for more than 10 prestigious national and international medical conferences. She has presented many national and international papers in Cambridge, Birmingham Italy France and Hungary. She is affiliated to more than 15 eminent International and National Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy associations.

She is a recipient of MRCPCH UK an internationally acclaimed medical qualification. Her research interest is in complex paediatric epilepsies ketogenic diet and paediatric movement disorder.

Deena Khalil Abdul Rahman Bahadur has spent her last 6 years working with neurology challenging cases, during that period she has learned that all her knowledge and desire to help doesn’t quickly lead to an accurate diagnosis and better management, until she earn the trust of her patients and their parents. Establishing good rapport with her patients, colleagues and staff has been her goal throughout her Residency and will remain so throughout her medical career. She is now running a company for medical events organization including poster design, website, registration…etc.

Dr. Rajendra D. Badgaiyan, MD, is a psychiatrist and cognitive neuroscientist. He is Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Richmond University Medical Center, and Professor of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He received formal training in psychiatry, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, molecular imaging and neuroimaging. He was awarded the prestigious BK Anand National Research Prize in India and Solomon Award of Harvard Medical School. His research is focused on the study of neural and neurochemical mechanisms that control human brain functions. He developed the single scan dynamic molecular imaging technique (SDMIT) to detect, map, and measure neurotransmitters released acutely in the human brain during task performance. This technique is now used in laboratories all over the world. Using this technique, he studies dopaminergic control of human cognition and behavior. He is also interested in learning the nature of dysregulated dopamine neurotransmission in psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions. His research is funded by NIMH, NINDS, VA, and various foundations. Previously he served in the faculty of Harvard Medical School, SUNY Buffalo and University of Minnesota. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rana is a Canadian neurologist who specializes in Parkinson disease and Movement Disorders. After his neurology residency training, he completed a fellowship in Parkinson’s disease and Movement disorders from the University of Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Rana is currently the Director of Parkinson’s Clinic of Eastern Toronto and Movement Disorders Centre in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Rana is the founder and former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Parkinsonism and Restless Legs Syndrome, published by Dove Press. Dr. Rana is also the founder of the World Parkinson’s Program, a global organization dedicated to improving lives of those with Parkinsons disease. He has published extensively in the field of Neurology, Parkinsons disease and Movement disorders.
